Michael West’s 80’s-inspired horror tale, “The City Will Eat You Alive,” has been named a finalist for Best Short Story of 2017 in the annual Imadjinn Awards presented by the Imaginarium Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.

The awards will be presented on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

Inspired by the horror cinema of West’s youth, “The City Will Eat You Alive” tells the story of a young woman, trying to make it on her own in 1980s New York, who encounters a pack of carnivorous subterranean creatures on her subway trip home.
