Horror-Web Gives “Cinema” 4.5 Out of 5 Stars!

Horror-Web just posted a review of my new Seventh Star Press novel, Cinema of Shadows, giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars!  Here’s a snippet:

“West simultaneously warms the heart and chills the soul…Don’t start reading Cinema Of Shadows on a weeknight, because you’re going to end up calling in to work from lack of sleep.  Save it for the weekend, because you’re going to be up all night, unable to put it down until you finish, and not sleeping so well after you do.”

Cinema of Shadows Haunts the Book Den

The Book Den has posted a new review of my Seventh Star Press novel, Cinema of Shadows.  Here is a snippet:

4 stars!  I was hooked into Cinema of Shadows from the start…an original and frightening story.   I have some vivid images from inside (the) Woodfield Movie Palace that will continue to haunt me.    I couldn’t help but like the characters and root for them to survive.   Cinema of Shadows is the first novel I have read by Michael West, but it won’t be the last.”

Cinema of Shadows is “Fun, Entertaining Read!”

Jess Resides Here has posted a great review of my new novel from Seventh Star Press, Cinema of Shadows.  Here’s a bit of it…

“Ah how I loved this…I would recommend Cinema Of Shadows to anyone looking for a fun, entertaining read with characters that are well written and enjoyable. With some chills and thrills, it’s sure to please. I’d personally recommend it in winter, when you’re curled up under a blanket, when the lights are low, when the wind is howling. At least you hope it’s the wind, better check though just to be sure.”

Upcoming Meet and Greets with Michael West

This will be a busy week!  My new novel from Seventh Star Press, Cinema of Shadows, hits the streets on August 9th.   I have a new short story, “Masako’s Tale,” available in the second Beast Within anthology, Predator & Prey, available now from Graveside Tales Books  And, last but not least,  I have added two new appearances to my schedule.

The first appearance is at the historic Hannah House, a real-life haunted house in Indianapolis, IN.  I will be signing books, including Cinema of Shadows, during the Paranormal Meet & Greet from 12-4 pm on Saturday, August 13th.

The second appearance  is a book signing  at That Book Place, a great little book store in Madison, Indiana, on Saturday, October 22.  Just in time for Halloween!  Look for more details as the event draws near.

As always, faithful readers can find out where I will be popping up next by going to the Schedule page of my website.  There you will find a list of conventions, book signings, etc.  Just be sure to check back often, as all dates and times are subject to change.  Hope to see you soon!
